We choose our cycling itineraries for the stunning scenery they offer and the Khovsgol lake region is no exception! Starting in Ulaan Baatar, we travel north close to the Russian border. This is 100% off-road adventure cycling in the valleys, mountains, and forests around Lake Khovsgol. Traversing the river valleys of the Egin and Arig and the mighty Selenge, this trip is fully supported, once leaving the capital. All cooking is catered for by our local crew and served in the great outdoors. We descend into the basin of Lake Khovsgol with the sun setting and where we camp for two nights by the lake's shore then cross over by boat so we can continue riding to our end destination of Hatgal.
